The quarrel between pro-lives and pro-choices has been one of the most prominent issues often brought up in politics, more specifically, the upcoming 2024 Presidential election While the election is just around the corner, taking place in November of 2024, the “March for Life protest” has proceeded under the freezing temperatures in January. Pro-life protesters “braved the snow and freezing temperature(Salai),” walking towards the US Capitol and Supreme Court.  Although this protest has been an annual event, some advocates suggest unique insights on this 51st event. Advocates claim the event has  become particularly special due to the upcoming election and its competitive composition between Joe Biden, as a Democrat supporting the choice, and Donald Trump, as a Republican, supporting the life. According to one article on the AP website, the protesters carried messages written “Life is precious…I am pro-life generation” and chanted, “Everyone you knew was once an embryo.”

Along with the protest, influential people have raised their voices, starting from  Benjamin Watson– an anti-abortion celebrity advocate who is a former NFL player–and to the House Speakerhouse Speaker Mike Johnson. Watson mentioned, “Roe is done, but the factors that drive women to seek abortions are ever apparent and ever increasing. Roe is done, but abortion is still legal and thriving in too much of America.” Johnson also fired up the protesters by saying, “We can stand with every woman for every child, and we can truly build a culture that cherishes and protects life.” in the event's speech.

Abortion politics has been again fired up in the public due to the protest. However, it is a big concern that the intensifying conflicts between the pro-lives and the pro-choices result in severe political polarisation.
